My favorite football story involves an Italian player. In 1990 World Cup, he was not included in the side. Following a series of injuries, he barely got into the squad but not in the playing eleven. He appeared as substitute and scored a decisive goal. And boy, the ignored Italian played like there was no tomorrow. Even though Italy came third, World Cup 1990 belonged to Salvatore Schillaci . 6 Goals, Golden Boot , Golden Ball and lots of stories to brag to grandchildren
