The separation of Mizoram, Meghalaya etc from Assam a few decades ago and the current demand of Bodos and Karbis to separate out of Assam shows that the ASSAMESE PEOPLE are very unpopular and is actually are considered VILLAINS. The fault lies in some Assamese people who impose Assamese language on others
